Google put out a teaser on Google+ to promote the August 21 event. There, the Android O and its official name will be unveiled. The teaser video had a name ‘GoogleOreo_Teaser_0817_noDroids (1).mp4′. But, in an attempt to right the wrong, Google took down the teaser and uploaded it again renaming ‘OctopusTeaser.mp4′, which just made sure what we have all been speculating. Google’s decision to go with Oreo makes sense since the famous cookies are known worldwide.

Google will reveal this teaser at the launch event. With the name also comes the logo. The name ‘Oreo’ brings to mind the image of the dark brown colored biscuits. What about an Oreo half dipped in milk? That would be just awesome. Now, only Google knows what are they planning.
